Bruce Springsteen in Gothenburg 2016-06-27...

the tickets for this huge show sold out in no time, but my wife somehow managed to get tickets for it anyway :-)
bruce springsteen actually sold out 3 shows in no time.
all 3 at ullevi stadium in gothenburg, sweden.
total audience for all 3 shows were close to 200000, so pretty amazing.

before the actual show, we found out about a pre-party with a local bruce springsteen tributeband, called spring street band.
we decided to go there and check it out.
i'm happy to say that they did a good job :-)
the weather wasn't that great and it rained a little from time to time during the whole evening.

it wasn't very far to the big show at ullevi stadium, so we walked there.
at first we were a little hesitant about the directions, but we just followed everyone else, so no problem.

the show was just as great as always :-)
we've seen bruce and the band for 3 or 4 times now and i feel safe to say that they never disappoint.
awesome!
they played for about 3.5 hours and the reviews in the papers the next day were all 5 stars.

after the show we wanted to get a drink.
we used our phones to find the best cocktail bars nearby and found one that we ha never been to before.
we decided to check it out.
it was the bar at the pigalle hotel.
we entered the building and asked for our favourite drinks, pina colada and margarita.
the bartender told us that he had limited supplies at this bar, but if we took the elevator to the top, we would find a bigger bar with more options.
we took the elevator all the way up.
the bar there is something special and very nice :-)
it's actually located on the roof of the hotel, so there's no ceiling (other than the sky) :-)
in the pic it looks like a ceiling, but it's not.
it's just a backup plan in case of rain and if so, they can quickly get some kind of ceiling up on those beams.

all in all, we had a great time and if bruce ever decides to come back (which he probably will), we'll most likely be there :-)
